Welcome to Everyday Liturgy, the blog of a bunch of graduate students (completing or completed) in the humanities and theology discussing one of our favorite things: liturgy, as well as some of the news and religious topics that we find interesting. The site is an ongoing expansion, and reviews, forums, and articles are slowly popping up like bulbs during spring. Feel free to discuss some hot topics in our forums: The Jesus Tomb and It’s Implications or Dobson vs. NEA: Who’s Right?
With the theme of liturgy as our guide, the Carnival has been divided up into the Call to Worship, The Word of God, Eucharist, Prayers, and Benediction.
Call to Worship – Before we start, these are the things that inform us and prepare us to worship? Why are we Christians? What sets us apart as a community? What is happening in our community?

The Word of God – These posts explore the interpretations and applications of Christ, Our Word, and what he speaks to us this day.
· Dancing has always been a debated matter within Christianity. Veracity-The Way proposes in Dance for the Lord that we need to be careful about why we dance and what we are wearing and using for the dance. Is our goal to bring attention to our costumes, props or dance prowess, or is to bring attention to Him?
· Dr. Trudy Veerman webmaster of TURBULENT TIMES shares some thoughts concerning Entering the Kingdom of God. There is more to Salvation than knowing about Jesus Christ.

Eucharist – Thoughts that dwell on the meaning and remembrance of Christ, Our Word and Savior.

Prayer and Meditation – Our prayers are incense offerings to God, our stories interpreted through His narrative, or our petitions to the Almighty. Our meditation is the act of pondering about living the Word.

Benediction – The benediction is where the pastor leaves you with something inspiring, blessed, convicting, or a wee bit cheesy.
